Terms of Use

Orders

  • No minimum order!
  • Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days from the date placed. Please note, however, that some delays may be experienced during busy periods (such as Christmas, Holidays, Trade Shows, web sales etc)

Exchange Rates

  • The alternate currency values are indicative only and may not reflect the exact currency exchange rate available on the day of purchase.
  • Your order will be charged in Australian Dollars at the displayed amount.

International Customers and GST (Goods and Services Tax)

  • The website will add the appropriate amount of GST (if applicable) to the displayed price, based on your shipping location and relevant tax rate. The amount of GST being charged is also displayed separately for your convenience.
  • Non-Australian customers: goods shipped outside of Australia will not be charged for GST.

Stock

  • At any given time, Empire Beads has thousands of bead types moving through our warehouse. Some of these beads are one off production items which are not manufactured on a continual basis. We import these lines so that our stock is continually interesting and new. This also means that we may not always be able to provide a bead that you have previously purchased.
  • Whilst we try to keep beads in our catalogue in stock at all times, due various factors this is not always achievable.
  • If some items on your order are out-of-stock, you order will be shipped without them. You will not be charged for the items out-of-stock.
  • If you would like to be notified of the out-of-stock items, please put a message in the comment box when checking out.

Payment methods

  • Visa, Mastercard or Bank Transfer (Australian Bank) at no extra cost (when enterring card details online)
  • If you choose "Phone Ordering (Australian Customers only), we will call you to get your credit cards details once you order is ready to be shipped. Incurs a $2 surcharge.
  • Personal Cheque or Money Order with a surchage of $2.
  • Business Cheque at no extra cost.
  • Bank Transfer (non-Australian Bank) with a surchage of $20.
  • We ship the goods once we have received cleared funds. If you make a bank transfer, shipping is delayed by approximately 2 business days, and if you pay by cheque, shipping is delayed by up to 3 business days. If you order is urgent, please use a credit card.

Shipping

  • Shipping costs are determined by the total weight and/or cubic measurement of the packaged goods
  • Shipments within the Australia are sent via Australia Post or Fastway Courier
  • Shipments outside the Australia are sent via Australia Post Air Mail, Australia Post Sea Mail, Australia Post International Express or ECI . Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our freight options.

Note: Orders sent via Standard Post are not trackable and will NOT be replaced if lost. We recommend you choose a traceable and therefore more secure method of postage such as Registered Post, Courier Service or Express Post Service;


Packaging

  • Some of our stock is pre-packed by our suppliers, but not all of it.
  • If you order multiple packs of one item, chances are you will have them combined in one larger bag.
  • We are not able to provide our customers with a pre-packing service at this stage.

Return, Exchange and Damaged Goods Policy

  • We do not give refunds if you change your mind, so please choose your goods carefully.
  • Discounted Items, Special Offers, Promotions with Promotional Codes, Global Promotions, cut lengths, and items sold by weight will not be exchanged or refunded. We are happy to exchange all other goods if they are returned in their original packaging within 7 days of receipt. Empire Beads will not cover the shipping charges incurred by your return. You will be liable to pay the cost of returning the goods and also the cost of having the new goods shipped to you
  • All exchanges are subject to additional postage costs, unless the goods are found to be damaged or faulty. If goods are found to be damaged or faulty, and we agree to an exchange or refund, we will send you a postage envelope to be used to return the damaged or faulty goods, and replace and return the damaged or faulty goods at no cost to you
  • For exchange items, you are required to include your name, trading name, telephone number, fax number, delivery address and reason for return
  • Orders sent via standard post are not traceable and will not be replaced if lost. Registered Post, Express Post, and Couriers parcels will be traced and recovered if possible. Lost items will be replaced only once the Shipping agent has finalized the search. Please contact our warehouse on +61 2 9281 7111 if you have not received your parcel. Please quote your order number.
  • If you receive an incomplete or damaged consignment, please contact our warehouse on +61 2 9281 7111 immediately upon receipt
  • Returns will not be accepted for any reason after 10 working days from receipt!

  • The order process on this site is fully secure. All order and payment details are encrypted prior to sending and transfered across an SSL. Empire Beads is a fully qualified owner of a site security certificate.

Privacy Policy

  • All customer information stored by Empire Beads is used for internal purposes only. We do not distribute or sell your personal details to any third party. All data is stored on site in a secure and encrypted database
