How long does it take to receive my order?

Our warehouse typically ships orders within 2-3 business days. During promotions and special events, the turnover period may be extended.

Customers are notified by email when the order is being shipped.

The shipping time will vary depending on the destination of your parcel and the choice of shipping method. Regular Post parcels can take up to 10 working days in remote areas. Express Australia Post satchels are delivered overnight to most postcodes, but make take longer to be delivered in remote areas. Fastway Courriers deliveries will take between 1 and 7+ working days.

I am paying by Bank Transfer, when should I make the payment?

Once the order is ready to ship, and we have adjusted the total amount, you will receive an email with the final amount and bank details. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE TRANSFER BEFORE YOU HAVE RECEIVED OUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL!

I haven't received an invoice with my parcel

In an effort to reduce our paper use (thus doing the forests a favour) our invoices are emailed only.

If you wish to receive a printed invoice with your order, please ask us in the comment box when checking out.

I haven't received the number of beads I ordered!

We use a variety of couting/weighing method but mistakes can happen. If you have not received the number of beads you have ordered, please contact us and we\'ll fix this for you.

My order has been shipped a few days ago, but I haven't received it!
  • If you chose a regular post service, your order cannot be tracked and no claim can be made.
  • If you chose a registered service, we can usually track the parcel for you.
  • Empire Beads will not refund you if your parcel has been lost by the postal service. We will help you with the claim process.
What is the handling charge?

This is a flat $2 (+GST) picking and packing fee we charge for every order placed with Empire Beads. It is bundled in the shipping charge.

Can I buy a website item in your shop?

Please read this carefully.

Our website has over 10,000 items. If you ask for "a blue bead I have seen on your website", we won\'t be able to help you much, but we will do our best to help you find the bead you need. If you wish to purchase or view a website item, you will need to supply the product code of the item (eg 10101-1001-PC) so we can locate the product in the warehouse. Our shop can also get very busy, so if you would like to purchase or view a website item, you may have to be patient.

If you bring in a list of items that you wish to purchase from the website, it will be added to the warehouse queue and you may need to wait for your items. It is best to use our website and choose to pick up the parcel.

We are not able to provide retail/web price comparison, so please do not ask "how much is this item sold for online?". Our retail prices are displayed on the jars/items/counters.

Do you have the same prices in your shop? \"

No, our prices in the shop are different to our website prices. The website is the cheapest way to buy your beads.

However, our retail bead shop will allow you to purchase single beads, instead of pack quantities.

\" Do you have the same range in your Surry Hills Shop?

Our Surry Hills bead shop doesn\'t have the same range as our website. The shop also has hundreds of items which cannot be found on our website.

What are your opening hours?

Our retail shop is opened from Monday to Friday between 9:30AM and 5PM and on Saturdays from 10AM to 4PM
